This is a great read to see the beginnings of where Immortal Mag started. You feel like you as a reader are being noticed for your support and fandom of ImmortalMag, Nige and the model army behind him. You have a sense of what each city and each model brings out of Nige and his creativity, a peep behind the looking glass. The images are stunning, well crafted from framing, to clarity of theme and each make you feel something, a testament to Nige and the ModelArmy. Just look at the quality of the gold on the cover!

Retrospective is a very bold and playful issue. It’s use of colour and styling definitely gives you a sense of nostalgia without feeling outdated. It manages to maintain a feeling of intimacy throughout while depicting the confidence of everyone involved.
